I share your concern for all fo...Bill,<br /><br />Well said.<br /><br />I share your concern for all forms of life and was taken in to some powerful anti-foie gras material quite some time ago.<br /><br />One day I encountered a documentary that, unfortunately, I can't seem to find right now. The crew went to a foie gras "farm", if you will. They talked extensively about how caring for the animals is important to a quality product. There was video footage of ducks literally lining up to eat. The process was gentle and certainly humane.<br /><br />Of course, I understand that there are situations that aren't like that. As a not-strict vegetarian, I'm not suggesting that foie gras is great -- but it looked a lot better than what some dairy cattle are put through.<br /><br />Ultimately, there are two sides to <i>every</i> story.
